A Memorable Halloween: Siena Gardens' 2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat

Siena Gardens hosted our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat, and the turnout was fantastic. Children from our community joined residents and their families for an unforgettable Halloween celebration!
Residents and their families got into the spirit, decorating trunks and dressing up in creative costumes. The event featured everything from a charming Tin Man and Dorothy to a full Wizard of Oz-themed family, complete with the Scarecrow, Good Witch, and Wicked Witch. One of our residents who dressed up as Dorothy was saying, “There is no place like Siena!” Laughter and joy filled the air as they embraced the Halloween spirit.
The weather was perfect, and the costumes ranged from spooky to beloved characters. Staff and their families also participated, adding to the fun, as scary music set the mood and the Dietary Department kept us well-fed with hotdogs, chips, and cookies.
The creativity put into decorating the cars was spectacular, and the residents and guests enjoyed the variety of themed cars. We gave away door prizes for the scariest and the cutest trunks and USS Nightmare generously donated four fast pass tickets that were awarded to Tina in Medical Records. Bella Care Hospice donated a cozy door prize for the cutest decorated car, which went to Natasha, our Activities Director. Many more prizes were given away to different age groups.
As we look ahead to next year, we're excited to make the event even bigger and better. We're grateful for our community's continued support, making this Trunk-or-Treat a cherished tradition at Siena Gardens!
