At Siena Gardens, we love celebrating rehabilitation success stories, especially during the holiday season! Our therapy department has created a festive and uplifting environment for our skilled residents by incorporating holiday activities like wrapping presents, baking cookies, and decorating the Christmas tree. These holiday-themed therapy sessions not only boost spirits but also make therapy feel less like work and more like preparing for cherished family traditions.

The holidays can be a challenging time for those in a skilled nursing facility, but our dedicated therapy team is committed to providing residents with the tools and confidence they need to make it home and enjoy the season with their loved ones.



Our therapy focus this holiday season includes:

• Family training and practicing steps and car transfers
• Strengthening and walking community distances
• Improving coordination and range of motion while wrapping presents
• Enhancing standing tolerance and balance while decorating a Christmas tree
• Fine-tuning motor skills and cognition while decorating cookies
