Employee Spotlight - Tina Schreibeis

Siena Gardens, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Cincinnati, Ohio, would like to highlight our amazing team. One individual who continues to go above and beyond is our RN, MDS nurse, Tina Schreibeis. Tina started at Siena Gardens in August of 2019. We wanted to give Tina the opportunity to introduce herself.

Meet Tina:

"I have been an RN, working in LTC since graduating from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in 1995. I have been an MDS nurse for the majority of my career. I am responsible for conducting patient assessments in accordance with federally mandated guidelines and developing patient care plans. The MDS is also the key driver for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement systems and reporting programs such as Quality Measures.



I have been married for 21 years to Steve and we have a daughter, Lizzie. We have 2 dogs, Lila and Jessie, and 1 cat, Casper.

I enjoy reading, crocheting, jewelry making during my time off.

I love to travel. Prior to COVID 19, we had always taken a few vacations a year as a family. We can’t wait to be able to start traveling again. Prior to COVID 19, I was blessed and lucky enough to take a 2 week trip to Europe with my dad, stepmom, brother, and aunt. We visited Amsterdam, Prague, Lake Como in Italy, and spent a few days in the mountains of Switzerland before going to Germany to finish out our trip visiting with family.

My favorite part about working at Siena Gardens is the residents. They always make me smile and brighten my day. I love being able to visit, chat, and spend time with them. One of the things COVID 19 has made me realize is how important the staff is to the residents. Not just taking care of their needs, but being their friend and family, especially when there were so many restrictions with visiting. I love seeing family and friends back in the building!"
